Sewanee AngelFest Update:

The show must go on!!  Rain or shine, AngelFest 2015 will happen beginning this afternoon at 4:30pm.  We are waiting until later to decide whether we will move our Kids Activities and concert with Jason Eskridge inside the American Legion.

The canine musical sits is still scheduled to happen up at Angel Park near the pavilion with competitions beginning at 5, again at 5:30, and 6pm with a championship round to be held at 6:15pm, so don't forget your 4 legged family members!

Ya gotta love Sewanee... We were granted permission this morning by Mrs. Tucker at Sewanee Elementary School to use the gymnasium to set up our inflatable events in the event of rain.  As with the Kids Activities, we will wait until later to determine if these will be at SES or outside the American Legion, so stay tuned.

We are watching the weather with our fingers crossed and hoping the weather will cooperate.  Either way, please plan to join us for AngelFest 2015!!
The day has finally arrived, and its time for AngelFest 2015!!

You may be wondering about what happens if it rains? Well, we'll take the fun indoors at the American Legions building, of course!  All but the inflatables that is.  But no worries there either - we will just have to enjoy them on another fine day.

Jason Eskridge will follow at 7:30 as planned with his concert following our children's activities.

The beer flight will go on - just bring an umbrella.

So don't be afraid of a little rain.  Come on out and join us rain or shine for this year's AngelFest!

Sewanee AngelFest 2015

It's almost that time again!  Put it on your calendar now - the 5th Annual AnglelFest to be held on Friday, September 25th, 2015.  We've worked hard to give you what you wanted - more fun!!

The kids and family fun activities will be held from 4:30-7pm.  Some of the activities this year include: a Bounce House, Arts and Crafts; Face Painting; Temporary Tattoos and Glow Bracelets; Music; Marshmallow Poppers; Rescued Wildlife; Bungee Run; Science Fun; Balloons; Ladder Toss; Inflatable Twister Game... You simply can not afford to miss this!

And while the kids are having the time of their lives, we have not forgotten the people responsible for their presence.  New this year, we will be offering Beer Flights for $10 for adults with a valid ID to "Fly" (OK, really you'll be walking...) to our local, participating restaurants and receive a 4oz beer while learning a little about what our local restaurants have to offer.  You can feel good about this "Flight" knowing a portion of your purchase will go to help fund the Elliott Park project. Beer Flights will continue throughout the evening.

Speaking of Elliott Park, we will also be holding a raffle to help raise money for Elliott Park.  For $5 you can purchase a raffle ticket to win a 24" Samsung LED HDTV with HDMI...(I promise all those letters are on the box).  You might also choose to purchase 5 tickets for $20 - what a bargain! The raffle will also be held throughout the evening with a winner announced near the end of the concert.  The winner does not have to be present to win, just be sure we have all your correct contact information on the ticket.

A free concert will follow the kids activities beginning at 7:30pm featuring musician Jason Eskridge.  There will be food vendors stationed around to satisfy your hungry herd, so no worries of "crummies in your tummies"...  Shenanigan's, Modern Dave's Fiery Gizzard Taco Truck, Crossroads, and the Blue Chair Tavern will have street side food available, but don't forget your dining-in options at Blue Chair Tavern, Shenanigan's, Crossroads, and Ivy Wild.  There really is something for everyone!

Hope to see you ALL there!
